Asherah Wand
An ancient name for the Goddess, going back thousands of years and threading through many cultures, from Sumerian to Phoenician, Egyptian to Hebrew, and many more besides. Known as a fertility Goddess by some, she may have even been the wife of Yahweh during the Hebrew polytheistic period, and is mentioned many times in the original Hebrew bible. "Asherah poles" were often planted in sacred groves, or besides shrines, but the practice was eventually stamped out. I think it is a beautiful name, and matches the feminine qualities of this wand. Some people think the design is reminiscent of unicorns, I agree, and would like to think Asherah would be a great name a unicorn too!!
