Professor Severus S.'s Wand
One of the more famous character wands, I was able to create the 3d model for this wand based on beads produced by the company who supplied to the film studio - see last pictures. I was incredibly lucky that another wand maker, Nebulus Wands, had acquired these and was willing to post one to me so I could create the wand. It took weeks of work work, much of it in 3d modelling in VR, and then a long time to figure out the best processes to carve the wand itself. But, I think you will agree, it was worth it! I have tried to stay as faithful to the original as possible, with only minor changes to make it possible to carve it with my processes.
I almost universally use Gabon ebony for this wand, but have been asked to make it in African blackwood before. Right click - open in new tab for full size high detail images.
